Since 1971, Myojo hasn’t changed much.
The category started to be crowded
and competitor more aggressive.
Myojo need to realign itself on its brand.
Most people remember the chicken.
But we needed to make it consistent
and create value without removing
the brand heritage.
We did research on consumers to
understand the way they use and
dress their instant noodles.
Myojo created a vast amount of flavors.
Yet, the packaging did not show
an alignment under the same house.
We helped create a real family brand.
We helped create a more engaging
brand that pushes the consumers
to navigate across the brand with
the variety of tastes.
Myojo increased sales by 30%
in 3 months, the consumers
perception of the brand increased.
The Myojo brand was reborn.
Comm pt ltd. is a leading Japanese media
in Singapore and Asia. The request was to
create a Japanese channel identity for
the Singaporean public.
We came up with a character that can connect
and interact with the public, Toby the ninja boy.
We created multiple visuals that
touch all parts of the identity and
programs. We came up with the music
and motion for each category.
We help create the activation tools
for Comm to promote their channel,
with the help of Toby of course!
The public responded amazingly to
the mascot, queuing to meet with Toby.
The channel was a big success with
the public’s positive response.
In promoting popular Japanese culture to
Asia pacific and the world, the inspired
design used well-known Japanese themes
& mascots to bring news of the
latest happenings from Japan.
